Panauti Mela of Nepal

Panauti is that place which located in Nepal of bagamati zone in Bhaktapur district. This Mela is conciding with the month-long Makar Mela. This is celebrated once every years at Panauti. This Mela helds from 15 January. Capturing various sociocultural facts of Panauti, many people has unfolded many rare and disappearing cultural practices of the local Newar communoty throughtheir photos. A huge crowd of peoplses attending the festival where some people are pulling the chariot while volunteers are making way for the chariot. Similarly, another titled called Holi Bath shows some devotees performing the ritual of taking the holy dip in the river while some are praying to the Sun God at Madhavnarayan Mela during Swasthani Brata festival at Hanuman ghat, Bhaktapur. Through Panauti is very rich its culture in the recent days many of it cultural practises are disappearing. This is also a very good and big Mela.
